Power is great as homicidal son Ronnie, from his impish grin at the wordless Act I closing to the whirlwind monologue that opens Act II, as Ronnie acts out his humiliating fantasy as a kid. That set piece is Guare's funniest scene.

House of Blue Leaves is rattlingly good... the cast is terrific... Sean Power as a terrifically played son.

Sean Power plays Ronnie; I found myself wishing he had more lines.

In his finely etched performance, Sean Power slows down the play's pace and lowers the volume, The character's recollection of his efforts to play Huckleberry Finn years earlier is the funniest monologue of the evening; Power pinpoints the humor and knows how to put just the right top-spin on each line.
